Karin Coninx is a Full Professor in Computer Sciences at Hasselt University, and she has taken several management positions in the university (Vicerector Education, Dean of faculty of sciences, Director of Doctoral School for sciences and technology).Her research specializes in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and eHealth, and she co-authored about 400 papers in HCI. Karin Coninx is involved in several eHealth studies and projects (e.g. H2020 CoroPrevention). She is co-inventor of the digital EXPERT tool concept .
